There are two people who have tested positive for the corona virus from an unknown source of infection.
In total, 163 people have been sampled in Åland. In total, there are eight people who have tested positive for the corona virus.
There are five who have been traveling outside of Åland and one who has arrived through infection tracking.
Two people have an unknown source of infection. This means that they have not been traveling or been in close contact with anyone who has confirmed the virus.
- It is therefore no longer possible to follow the infection chain backwards and means that there is a verified community infection on Åland, says government physician Knut Lönnroth.
30 people have been quarantined after the infection has been tested on all those who have tested positive. It also includes healthcare professionals, continues Lönnroth.
