Five positive corona cases in Åland
Five people have been tested positive for covid-19 in Åland.
It is four young adults who have traveled in different countries, they have no connection to each other.
The fifth person is a middle-aged person who has been in close contact with one of them who has traveled.
All self-care in their homes with mild symptoms.
Director of Health Jeanette Pajunen points out that everyone with colds should stay home when it can be covid-19.
- There are no characteristic symptoms, she says. Anyone who has a cold should stay at home for the entire duration of the illness plus a symptom-free day, according to new directives from the Institute of Health and Welfare, THL.
However, healthcare and elderly care staff should stay at home for two symptom-free days.
